Stefan Bozik, Principal
I’m a seasoned entrepreneur and owner operator dedicated to building and growing local businesses that honor their history, values, and community impact. With a background in business development, operations management, managing large teams, and investment banking, I purchased and grew my last business over eight years with the help of an amazing team, driving 30x revenue growth, remaining profitable every year, and creating a market leading brand. After successfully selling the company, I am now actively seeking my next business.
My entrepreneurial spirit is deeply rooted and inspired by my parents who ran their own business in NJ for over thirty five years. I love building businesses, the customer experience, and positively impacting the lives of the people the business touches, and the ripple effects this has. I am committed to ensuring local businesses thrive and amplify their impact to create positive benefits for the communities they serve.
Prior to owning and operating La Matera, I received my MBA from the Darden School of Business, managed a team of over 100 employees and three supervisors for McMaster-Carr, started my career in investment banking at Bank of America, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Wake Forest University.
Outside of work, I am a happily married, fun-loving girl dad of two. I enjoy traveling, spending time at the beach or in nature, cooking, and am a salsa connoisseur. I always like a challenge and find enjoyment in taking the road less traveled. I'm a lifetime learning, enjoy connecting with like-minded individuals, and am always open to new ideas and collaborations.
